“Cabin Pressure” is 10 second clip entered into the Graphic Impact : Pivotal Moment Competition at CGTalk. The clip had a max length of 10 seconds. I completed all the work in this clip; modelling, texturing, dynamics, rigging, and animation in only about 3 or 4 weeks.

Some of modelling work was done in Silo, the background plates rendered in Vue 5 Infinite, compositing in Digital Fusion, with everything else done in Lightwave 8.

I also wrote the music, and mixed the SFX for the clip in Fruity Loops 6 (Producer). The guitar track was recorded from an Epiphone Les Paul through a Behringer V-Amp effects unit.

This entry placed 3rd place in the individual category and scored me a trip to GDC 2006 in San Jose, which you can read about in the Blog->Travel section.
